Sizing
Most UK kitchen taps use M24 male or M22 female. Basin taps often M22 male. Measure the outlet thread with digital callipers.
Fit
Unscrew old with soft-jaw wrench (rubber sheet under jaws). Descale in white vinegar 30 min. Refit with hand-tight only.
