Replace the concealing plate and shroud on the Triton T80Z Fast-Fit where limescale has locked the temperature handle.

Undo the two handle grub screws (2.5 mm hex on most Triton models). Lift the shroud off — do not lever, it cracks.

Fit new O-rings between the wall plate and shroud to keep the IP54 rating.

Balance hot and cold to within 0.5 bar. Run the Triton T80Z Fast-Fit at max flow for 3 minutes.

Verify max outlet temperature stays below 46 °C per BS EN 1111 by shutting off cold and reading the outlet.
